Branded T5 vs Metal Halide vs Powerboss Eluma
Recently, a prospective Powerboss Eluma client trialled a branded T5 fluorescent fitting against Powerboss Eluma in a proposed retro-fit scenario. where 400W metal halide fittings were currently being used. Whilst the T5 and metal halide fittings delivered similar light levels, Eluma provided approximately 50% more light at the same connected load as the T5 fitting.
When the Eluma fittings were adjusted to only deliver equivalent light levels to the other compared fittings, it was using substantially less electricity to do so. Additionally, the "fitting-by-fitting" control of Eluma delivered substantial further savings. In fact, in terms of energy saving and light delivery, Eluma was found to be 50% more efficient than comparable modern technologies.
